Anti-EIF5AL1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein eukaryotic translation initiation factor 5A like 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 154 amino acid residues and a mass of 16.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane, nucleus, ER, and cytoplasm. A member of the EIF-5A protein family, EIF5AL1 is known to be a mRNA-binding protein involved in translation elongation.
