Anti-FX antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the FX antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the F10 gene, which encodes coagulation factor X. This protein is known to function in the regulation of cell migration and proteolysis, among other biological roles. The human version of FX has a canonical amino acid length of 488 residues and a protein mass of 54.7 kilodaltons. It is reported to be a secreted protein. FX is a member of the Peptidase S1 protein family.
