Anti-FRG antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The FRG antigen is another term for the human protein folate receptor gamma, encoded by the FOLR3 gene. The protein is known to bind to folate and reduced folic acid derivatives and mediates delivery of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate to the interior of cells. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 245 residues and a mass of 27.9 kilodaltons. It is a secreted protein. The FRG protein is a member of the Folate receptor protein family. Other alias names for FRG include FR-gamma. Indicated applications for FRG antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
