Anti-FAM13C antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein family with sequence similarity 13 member C. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 585 amino acid residues and a mass of 65.7 kDa. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the FAM13 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein FAM13C and family with sequence similarity 13, member C1. FAM13C gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the FAM13C antibodies listed below. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
