Anti-CYP2C antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CYP2C antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CYP2C19 gene, which encodes cytochrome P450 family 2 subfamily C member 19. This protein is known to function in metabolic processes, among other biological roles. The human version of CYP2C has a canonical amino acid length of 490 residues and a protein mass of 55.9 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells and notably expressed in the duodenum and liver. CYP2C is a member of the Cytochrome P450 protein family. Indicated applications for CYP2C antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
