Anti-RGF antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RGF is a known alias name of the protein ral guanine nucleotide dissociation stimulator, encoded by the RALGDS gene in humans. This 914-amino acid residue protein is known to function as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) activating either RalA or RalB GTPases and plays an important role in intracellular transport. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for RGF include RGDS and RGDS.
