Anti-Adipsin antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Adipsin is a known alias name of the protein complement factor D, encoded by the CFD gene in humans. This 253-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in proteolysis, among other biological processes. The protein is secreted and features post-translational modifications. The term ADN is another synonym for Adipsin. Western Blot is the most common application for the Adipsin antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
