Anti-ACAP3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ArfGAP with coiled-coil, ankyrin repeat and PH domains 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 834 amino acid residues and a mass of 92.5 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the adrenal gland and appendix. ACAP3 is a GTPase-activating protein for the ADP ribosylation factor family. Synonyms for this target antigen include centaurin-beta-5, cnt-b5, and arf-GAP with coiled-coil, ANK repeat and PH domain-containing protein 3. ACAP3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some ACAP3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
