Anti-Rabex5 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Rabex5 is a known alias name of the protein RAB guanine nucleotide exchange factor 1, encoded by the RABGEF1 gene in humans. This 491-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in protein phosphorylation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. The term RAP1 is another synonym for Rabex5.
