Anti-NALP1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the NALP1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the NLRP1 gene, which encodes NLR family pyrin domain containing 1. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and viral immune response, among other biological roles. The human version of NALP1 has a canonical amino acid length of 1473 residues and a protein mass of 165.9 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebral cortex and hippocampus. Other names for this target antigen include AIADK, CARD7, and CIDED. Indicated applications for NALP1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
