Anti-MIER2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein MIER family member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 545 amino acid residues and a mass of 59.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. MIER2 is known to be a type of transcriptional repressor. Synonyms for this target antigen include mesoderm induction early response protein 2, mesoderm induction early response 1, family member 2, and KIAA1193. MIER2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the MIER2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
