Anti-TENX antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target TENX is a known alias name of the protein tenascin XB, encoded by the TNXB gene in humans. This 4244-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cytoskeleton organization and cell adhesion, among other biological processes. It is localized to the extracellular matrix and is secreted of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in fetal adrenal, in fetal testis, fetal smooth, striated and cardiac muscle. Other synonyms for TENX include EDS3, EDSCLL, and EDSCLL1. Indicated applications for TENX antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
