Anti-MPIF-1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target MPIF-1 is a known alias name of the protein C-C motif chemokine ligand 23, encoded by the CCL23 gene in humans. This 120-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cell to cell signaling and TNF-mediated cellular signaling pathways, among other biological processes. The protein is secreted and features cleaved post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in adult lung, liver, skeletal muscle and pancreas. Other synonyms for MPIF-1 include CK-BETA-8, CKb8, and Ckb-8. These MPIF-1 antibodies are widely used in Immunohistochemistry experiments, among other applications.
