Anti-SUN3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein Sad1 and UNC84 domain containing 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 357 amino acid residues and a mass of 40.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and membrane. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the testis. Synonyms for this target antigen include hypothetical protein MGC33329, sad1/unc-84 domain-containing protein 1, and SUN domain-containing protein 3. SUN3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Some SUN3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
