Anti-OR13C8 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 13 subfamily C member 8. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 320 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 13C8 and olfactory receptor OR9-10 pseudogene. OR13C8 gene orthologs have been reported in the rat species. ELISA and Western Blot are common applications for OR13C8 antibodies.
