Anti-iHog antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target iHog is a known alias name of the protein cell adhesion associated, oncogene regulated, encoded by the CDON gene in humans. This 1287-amino acid residue protein is a known component of the cell-surface receptor complex that mediates cell-cell interactions between muscle precursor cells. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features N-glycosylated post-translational modifications.
