Anti-CEACAM18 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein CEA cell adhesion molecule 18. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 384 amino acid residues and a mass of 43.3 kDa. It is a member of the CEA protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include carcinoembryonic antigen related cell adhesion molecule 18, and carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 18. CEACAM18 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the CEACAM18 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
