Anti-CCDC124 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein coiled-coil domain containing 124. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 223 amino acid residues and a mass of 25.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. A member of the CCDC124 protein family, CCDC124 is known to be required for proper progression of late cytokinetic stages. Synonyms for this target antigen include coiled-coil domain-containing protein 124. CCDC124 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some CCDC124 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
