In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 278 amino acid residues and a mass of 33.1 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. Synonyms for this target antigen include coiled-coil domain-containing protein 121. CCDC121 gene orthologs have been reported in the rat, bovine and chimpanzee species.
