Anti-SH3BP5L antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein SH3 binding domain protein 5 like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 393 amino acid residues and a mass of 43.5 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the SH3BP5 protein family, SH3BP5L is known to function as guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) for RAB11A. Synonyms for this target antigen include SH3 domain-binding protein 5-like and SH3BP-5-like. SH3BP5L gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some SH3BP5L antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunocytochemistry is also a common application.
