Anti-polymerase (RNA) II (DNA directed) polypeptide J2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target polymerase (RNA) II (DNA directed) polypeptide J2 is a known alias name of the protein RNA polymerase II subunit J2, encoded by the POLR2J2 gene in humans. This 115-amino acid residue protein is a member of the Archaeal Rpo11/eukaryotic RPB11/RPC19 RNA polymerase subunit protein family. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for polymerase (RNA) II (DNA directed) polypeptide J2 include DNA-directed RNA polymerase II subunit RPB11-b1, DNA directed RNA polymerase II polypeptide J-related, and DNA-directed RNA polymerase II subunit J2.
