Anti-WDR35 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein WD repeat domain 35. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1181 amino acid residues and a mass of 133.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. WDR35 is known to be involved with cilium assembly. The WDR35 gene has been associated with the disease, Cranioectodermal dysplasia. Synonyms for this target antigen include intraflagellar transport protein 121 homolog, naofen, and WD repeat-containing protein 35. WDR35 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some WDR35 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Western Blot are also common applications.
