Anti-LRP2BP antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein LRP2 binding protein. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 347 amino acid residues and a mass of 39.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the hippocampus, cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and caudate. LRP2BP is believed to act as an adapter that regulates LRP2 function. Synonyms for this target antigen include megBP and megalin-binding protein. LRP2BP gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These LRP2BP antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
