Anti-LHFPL2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein LHFPL tetraspan subfamily member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 228 amino acid residues and a mass of 24.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is reported to be expressed in all tissues and cell lines examined except brain and peripheral blood leukocytes. A member of the LHFP protein family, LHFPL2 is reported to play a role in female and male fertility. Synonyms for this target antigen include LHFP-like protein 2, lipoma HMGIC fusion partner-like 2 protein, and LHFPL tetraspan subfamily member 2 protein. LHFPL2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the LHFPL2 antibodies listed below. Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
