Anti-KIFC3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein kinesin family member C3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 833 amino acid residues and a mass of 92.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane, cytoplasmic vesicles, and cytoplasm. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the Kinesin protein family, KIFC3 is known to be involved with Golgi organization. Synonyms for this target antigen include kinesin-like protein KIFC3. KIFC3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of KIFC3 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
