Anti-V-set and immunoglobulin domain containing 4 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene VSIG4 in humans. The gene may also be known as CRIg, Z39IG, V-set and immunoglobulin domain-containing protein 4, and Ig superfamily protein. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 44 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
