Anti-VWA3A antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein von Willebrand factor A domain containing 3A. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1184 amino acid residues and a mass of 134 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include von Willebrand factor A domain-containing protein 3A. VWA3A gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species.
