Anti-TBCEL antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein tubulin folding cofactor E like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 424 amino acid residues and a mass of 48.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. TBCEL is known to act as a regulator of tubulin stability. Synonyms for this target antigen include E-like, catastrophin, leucine rich repeat containing 35, leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 35, tubulin-specific chaperone e-like, and tubulin-specific chaperone cofactor E-like protein. TBCEL gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the TBCEL antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
