Anti-GPN3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein GPN-loop GTPase 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 284 amino acid residues and a mass of 32.8 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the GPN-loop GTPase protein family, GPN3 is known to be a small gtpase required for proper localization of RNA polymerase II (RNAPII). Synonyms for this target antigen include ATP-binding domain 1 family member C, protein x 0004, and ATPBD1C. GPN3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the GPN3 antibodies listed below. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
