Anti-ROPN1B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein rhophilin associated tail protein 1B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 212 amino acid residues and a mass of 24 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell projections. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the testis. A member of the Ropporin protein family, ROPN1B is known to be involved with cell adhesion and spermatogenesis. Post-translational modifications have been described, including sumoylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include AKAP-binding sperm protein ropporin, rhophilin-associated protein 1B, ropporin, rhophilin associated protein 1B, testis tissue sperm-binding protein Li 83P, and ropporin-1B. Western Blot is a widely used application for the ROPN1B antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
