Anti-ZNF268 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein zinc finger protein 268. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 947 amino acid residues and a mass of 108.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 7 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in ovarian cancer tissues compared to normal ovarian tissues. A member of the Krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, ZNF268 is known to act as a transcriptional repressor. Synonyms for this target antigen include HZF3 and zinc finger protein HZF3. ZNF268 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Immunofluorescence is a widely used application for the ZNF268 antibodies listed below. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
