Anti-TRBV17 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein T cell receptor beta variable 17 (non-functional). In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 114 amino acid residues and a mass of 13 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. TRBV17 is a suspected non-functional open reading frame (ORF) of V region of the variable domain of T cell receptor (TR) beta chain. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation.
