Anti-YY1AP1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein YY1 associated protein 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 796 amino acid residues and a mass of 87.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 9 different isoforms for this protein. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. YY1AP1 is reported to associate with the INO80 chromatin remodeling complex, which is responsible for transcriptional regulation, DNA repair, and replication. Synonyms for this target antigen include HCCA1, HCCA2, YY1AP, hepatocellular carcinoma susceptibility protein, hepatocellular carcinoma-associated protein 2, and GRNG.
