Anti-TMEM139 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 139. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 216 amino acid residues and a mass of 23.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. TMEM139 is suspected to be involved in cellular trafficking of proteins such as SLC4A1. TMEM139 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some TMEM139 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
