Anti-SLFN5 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein schlafen family member 5. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 891 amino acid residues and a mass of 101.1 kDa. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 2 different isoforms for this protein. A member of a the Schlafen protein family, SLFN5 is suspected to have a role in hematopoietic cell differentiation.
