Anti-RASIP1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein Ras interacting protein 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 963 amino acid residues and a mass of 103.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the Golgi and cytoplasm. It is reported to be highly expressed in the heart. RASIP1 is known to be required for the proper formation of vascular structures that develop via both vasculogenesis and angiogenesis. Synonyms for this target antigen include RAIN. RASIP1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. Some RASIP1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
