Anti-RASAL2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein RAS protein activator like 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1139 amino acid residues and a mass of 128.6 kDa. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 2 different isoforms for this protein. RASAL2 is a reported inhibitory regulator of the Ras-cyclic AMP pathway. Synonyms for this target antigen include ras GTPase-activating protein nGAP, RASAL2/ACVR1 fusion, and NGAP.
