Anti-TIMM10 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein translocase of inner mitochondrial membrane 10. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 90 amino acid residues and a mass of 10.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria. It is found to be widely expressed, with highest expression in the heart, kidney, liver and skeletal muscle. It is a member of the Small Tim protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include TIM10A, TIMM10A, mitochondrial import inner membrane translocase subunit Tim10, translocase of inner mitochondrial membrane 10 homolog, and TIM10. TIMM10 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some TIMM10 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
