Anti-RPL10 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ribosomal protein L10. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 214 amino acid residues and a mass of 24.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the Universal ribosomal protein uL16 protein family, RPL10 is a known component of the large ribosomal subunit. The RPL10 gene has been associated with the disease, Autism. Synonyms for this target antigen include DXS648, DXS648E, L10, MRXS35, NOV, QM, uL16, and AUTSX5. RPL10 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species.
