Anti-TMEM42 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 42. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 159 amino acid residues and a mass of 17 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. TMEM42 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. These TMEM42 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
