Anti-SH3GLB2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein SH3 domain containing GRB2 like, endophilin B2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 395 amino acid residues and a mass of 44 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in skeletal muscle, adipocyte, brain, lung, colon and mammary gland. It is a member of the Endophilin protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include SH3 domain-containing GRB2-like protein B2, SH3-containing protein SH3GLB2, SH3-domain GRB2-like endophilin B2, retinoid receptor-induced gene 1, and endophilin-B2. SH3GLB2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some SH3GLB2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Western Blot are also common applications.
