Anti-RGS14 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein regulator of G protein signaling 14. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 566 amino acid residues and a mass of 61.4 kDa. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. RGS14 is reported to regulate G protein-coupled receptor signaling cascades. Post-translational modifications have been described, including phosphorylation. RGS14 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of RGS14 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
