Anti-RHOQ antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ras homolog family member Q. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 205 amino acid residues and a mass of 22.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and cytoplasm. A member of the Rho protein family, it is known to be involved with insulin signaling pathways and cytoskeleton organization. Post-translational modifications have been described, including palmitoylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include HEL-S-42, RASL7A, TC10, TC10A, rho-related GTP-binding protein RhoQ, and ARHQ.
