Anti-protein kinase (cAMP-dependent, catalytic) inhibitor gamma antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target protein kinase (cAMP-dependent, catalytic) inhibitor gamma is a known alias name of the protein cAMP-dependent protein kinase inhibitor gamma, encoded by the PKIG gene in humans. This 76-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the regulation of transcription, among other biological processes. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The term PKI-gamma is another synonym for protein kinase (cAMP-dependent, catalytic) inhibitor gamma.
