Anti-Tyrosine Hydroxylase antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene TH in humans. The Tyrosine Hydroxylase protein has an expected mass of 58.6 kDa, but there are 6 reported isoforms. The protein may also be known as DYT14, DYT5b, TYH, tyrosine 3-monooxygenase, and dystonia 14. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
