Anti-PCDH21 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PCDH21 is a known alias name of the protein cadherin related family member 1, encoded by the CDHR1 gene in humans. This 859-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cell adhesion, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features cleaved and glycosylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the skin, retina, rectum, and colon.
