Anti-PHD finger protein 8 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene PHF8 in humans. The gene may also be known as JHDM1F, KDM7B, MRXSSD, ZNF422, histone lysine demethylase PHF8, and jumonji C domain-containing histone demethylase 1F. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 117.9 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
