Anti-PUS3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein pseudouridine synthase 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 481 amino acid residues and a mass of 55.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is a member of the TRNA pseudouridine synthase TruA protein family. The PUS3 gene has been associated with the disease, Neurodevelopmental disorder with microcephaly and gray sclerae. Synonyms for this target antigen include pseudouridylate synthase 3, tRNA pseudouridine synthase 3, tRNA pseudouridylate synthase 3, tRNA-uridine isomerase 3, and tRNA pseudouridine(38/39) synthase. PUS3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the PUS3 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
