Anti-PRKAR1B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein protein kinase cAMP-dependent type I regulatory subunit beta. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 381 amino acid residues and a mass of 43.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the CAMP-dependent kinase regulatory chain protein family, PRKAR1B is a regulatory subunit of the cAMP-dependent protein kinases involved in cAMP signaling in cells. Synonyms for this target antigen include PRKAR1, cAMP-dependent protein kinase type I-beta regulatory subunit, protein kinase, cAMP-dependent, regulatory subunit type I beta, protein kinase, cAMP-dependent, regulatory, type I, beta, and MASNS. PRKAR1B gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of PRKAR1B antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
