Anti-MPND antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein MPN domain containing. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 471 amino acid residues and a mass of 50.7 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the Peptidase M67 protein family, MPND is a suspected protease (By similarity). Post-translational modifications have been described, including methylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include MPN domain-containing protein. MPND gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the MPND antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
